Moroccan Chicken And Chickpeas

Ingredients       

    * 4 Pounds Chicken
    * 2 1/2 Tablespoons Oil
    * 1 Onion, chopped
    * 1 Teaspoon Turmeric
    * 1 1/2 Cups Chickpeas, soaked
    * 1 Lem Lemon Juice
    * 4 Cloves Garlic
    * 1/4 Cayenne
    * Salt And Pepper

Cooking:

1. Saute onion, sprinkle with turmeric, mix, then add chicken and saute.
2. Add 2 1/2 cups water and all other ingredients.
3. Bring to boil, then cover and simmer for 1 hour.
4. Serve.
