Vietnamese Shrimp Crackers

Ingredients : Serves 4

1/2 cup Vegetable oil, for deep frying
1 box Uncooked shrimp crackers

Preparation:

  • Heat about 7 cm of oil in a small saucepan.

  • When it is good and hop, pop 1 uncooked piece from the box into the oil.

  • It should almost immediately blossom into a prawn cracker 2-3 times its original size.

  • Remove it immediately with a slotted spoon or bamboo sieve to drain on kitchen paper.

  • If you are not careful, it will burn. Add the remaining crackers, a few at a time, until they are all cooked.
