Ingredients : Serves 4
500 g Mud fish or any fish fillet, cleanedPreparation:
Cut fish into 100 g steaks. Marinate with fish sauce, sugar, caramel syrup, chicken seasoning powder and pepper for 15 minutes.
Mash spring onion and chili together using a mortar and pestle.
Heat oil and stir fry mashed spring onion and chili mixture until fragrant.
Add fish and cook each side for 5 minutes.
Add water and simmer until sauce is thick and coats fish.
Garnish with spring onion and sprinkle with pepper as desired.
Serve with steamed rice.
